Antique George III Style Oak Sideboard
About the Item
Antique George III style oak sideboard, 19th century. With an overhanging top with thumb molded front and side edges, over 4 quarter sawn oak drawers with mahogany cross banding, over 3 drawers and two bottom drawers, split fluted columns on each side, resting on ogee bracket feet. The exterior of this sideboard is original, the interior has been altered. Nice old color, dove tailed drawer construction.

- Condition:Replacements made: Exterior of sideboard is original, top, front and sides. Originally a mule chest with a hinged top that is now secured, top two rows of drawers originally were secured and did not open the fronts being decorative now they do open. No keys. Wear consistent with age and use.
