Danish Mid Century Showcase Sideboard Credenza by Bernard Pedersen Model 142

About the Item

Exceptional Danish Mid Century Modern showcase sideboard, credenza, made in Denmark by Bernard Pedersen & Son, circa 1960's. The lowercase features two sliding tambour door, which open to a center bank of four drawers, flanked by open shelved storage. The upper case has four sliding glass panels, which open to additional shelved storage space. The piece is constructed in teak, teak veneer, and glass. This example is in good, original, vintage estate condition, showing some cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age. Specifically, variations to the tone of the top the lower case, and shadowing where the top supports rest on the lower cabinet, inconsequential veneer chips at bottom of curved showcase supports, normal and consistent with age. Lower Case W 82.75 x D 20.25 x H 31.5 Upper Case W 72 x D 15 x H 22.5 Total H 65 inches.
