About the Item

Greaves & Thomas are renowned for their innovative and stunning designs and this teak sideboard with its intricate inset pulls is a wonderful example of how they brought exotic materials together to create stylish and highly practical pieces. With a rich color and deep set grain, this unit provides ample storage across two side opening cupboards and a central drop down drinks cabinet perfect for use as a home dry bar with its large storage capacity perfect for bottles, mixers and glasses. The upper drawers mirror the sizes of the cupboards below with two smaller side drawers, the right hand of which is lined in in grey felt and features removable fabric covered dividers allowing the drawer to be sectioned as required. The centre larger drawer is perfect for larger items and the moulded rounded drawer fronts create a real focal point to the piece. In good condition, the unit does have some wear and tear as you would expect of a piece of this period with the central drop down cupboard having dropped slightly on one side and some minor signs of wear and tear in the form of small veneer chips to the edges of the unit. This does in no way hinder the door opening nor does it in any way interfere with the use or function of the piece.
