Mid-Century French Louis XVI Style Ebonized Sideboard by NF Ameublement

About the Item

A spectacular French Louis XVI style ebonized sideboard in the manner of famous Parisian designer Maison Jansen, finely hand-crafted by NF Ameublement in France in the mid-20th century, having breakfront shaped marble top, over conforming case fitted with four dovetailed drawers, over four cabinets, with gilt bronze mounts, rising on transitional cabriole legs, ending in gilt brass sabots. Retaining the original keys. Signed, NF to each lock. Dimensions: (approx) 41.25" High, 91.75" Wide, 22" Deep Great antique / vintage condition with nicely aged patina. Wear consistent with age and indicative of use, including some minor light wear to flat black paint finish, nothing that detracts from the display or functionality but only adds to the sophisticated antique character and charm
