William Hinn Swedish Mid Century "Exoskeleton" Cabinet For Urban Furniture

About the Item

1950’s. Iconic Swedish Mid Century design Double Dresser from William Hinn’s celebrated “Exoskeleton” Line. The Double Dressers frame floats out from the body of the piece giving a very Sculptural look and being the impetus to the “Exoskeleton” title. The Cabinet is in chosen Teak veneers and solids and the interior is a beautifully contrasting light wood presumed to be Birch. The two top drawers have the traditional Mid Century removable dividers and the back of the piece is finished also. Condition: Please see all detail photos. There are various signs of age including some veneer loss to the top of the right-facing top drawer and edge wear to the left-side facing drawer front right edge as well as a paint scrape to the edge of one drawer. There are a few age-borne rubs and very slight scratches. All of the aforementioned is mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is exceptional. The Chest measures 76” wide by 23.5” deep by 34” high.
