A fine Edwardian serpentine satinwood sideboard of neat proportions, beautifully line inlaid throughout and finely carved with gorgeously rich patination and grain. The moulded line inlaid top with a lovely inlaid oval pattern to the central reserve, raised over shaped frieze with single centred long drawer flanked with two arrangements of four graduated drawers, all inlaid and with decorative brass ring pulls and escutcheons, supported on elegantly tapering leg, terminating on spade foot.

After completing his studies he spent several years working for various firms in Berlin, developing new architecture after the German re-unification. In 1999 Gisbert Pöppler founded Prinz–Pöppler, a partnership with architect Ilona Prinz – together creating office environments for start-up organizations filling the dynamic Berlin landscape...
