Regency Mahogany Wine Cooler

About the Item

A fine Regency mahogany wine cooler. The main sargofagus body with recessed panels held within beaded framework. The ends with gilt brass lion mask hoop handles. The front panel with mounted carved wreath. The highly figured top with turned bead & reel moulded edge, with a broad concave moulded edged lid opening to reveal a lead lined interior with twin removable tin liners with folding handles. Still retaining original brass Bramah lock, hinges & adjustable lid stay. The well carved lion paw feet retaining original concealed sunk castors.
