Three Drawer Cabriole Leg Dresser Base
About the Item
An 18th century English oak dresser base, or sideboard, having overhanging ogee molded top over three feather banded drawers and standing on three cabriole front legs ending in pad feet. The lower apron molding flows artfully in a double line into the tops of the legs. The whole with good warm color and lustre. Fitted patch to top surface possibly indicating the presence of a letter slot at an earlier stage of life.
