Versatile French Sideboard in Oak

About the Item

Sideboard, oak, brass, France, 1960s French sideboard made in oak with beautiful grain and detailing. With the vividly designed fronts and the functional and versatile storage facilities this high-quality sideboard serves both visual and practical aspects. A section of drawers is flanked by one door with integrated bottle holder on the inside and a double door on the other side. A rhythmic relief of vertical carved lines decorates most of the surface. Horizontal line and oval shapes complete the dynamic design. Round handles add a playful note to the design. From the same time like Guillerme & Chambron or Pierre Chapo, this sideboard is an example of a more rustic tendency of the 1960s design in France. Please note that this item is in good, used condition.
