About the Item
A grandly-scaled late 19th century French carved walnut Louis XVI style vitrine, the case with finely hand-carved swags, ribbons and floral details. Two doors retain their original shaped beveled glass; sides with original beveled glass also. Three adjustable thick glass shelves with robust steel hardware supports to the sides and middle. Lower open shelf space with turned and carved columns. This French piece is in excellent original condition- the walnut has a warm colour and patina developed over 130 years.
