20th Century French Patinated Wooden Vitrine

About the Item

A distinctive patina gives this vintage vitrine a romantic air of nostalgia. Made in France in the 20th century, glass windows on all four sides of the case maximize natural light, illuminating the objects placed on the wooden shelves within. The original cream paint of the frame has weathered over the years to a unique finish: in places revealing glimpses of the wood beneath; in others displaying a textural craquelure. The elegant form of the metal shelf brackets and a simple iron latch act as understated accents, perfectly complementing the attractive simplicity of the design.
