Exceptional Painted Display Cabinet By Van Thiel
About the Item
A large, very well made and highly decorative Display Cabinet from the iconic antique recreation firm Van Thiel. The Cabinet with eight-pane glass doors and fine contrasting Gold, Black and Oxblood paint and having gilt foliate decoration at top, base and panel sides. The front bottom panel is actually a hidden drawer. The doors open to a large painted interior having three peg adjustable shelves. With a key.
Dimensions: 90” high by 54.5” wide (At top) by 18” deep.
Condition: Please see detail photos. While the piece is intentionally antiqued, there are a few nicks and slight losses mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is excellent.
