Pair of French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Ormolu and Glass Vitrines/Étagères
About the Item
A striking and most elegant pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu and glass vitrines/étagères. Each vitrine is raised by a bottom mottled band and a fine ormolu band leading upwards framing the central glass pane and displaying lovely finely chased berried laurel bands at each side and a Les Oves band above. At each side are glass doors retaining their original hardware and which open to gain access to three adjustable glass shelves.
