Showcase Domed Louis XV Style Napoleon III Period, Vernis Martin, 19th Century
About the Item
Late 19th century Louis XV style domed showcase in painted wood. It presents a magnificent gallant decor of a man and a woman meeting in an undergrowth. Floral ornaments are visible on the entire showcase, which is entirely covered with fine quality designs. In addition, beautiful chiseled bronzes elegantly adorn the window. Typical of the Napoleon III period, this showcase reveals behind its door two hectic shelves in glass and one in wood lined with burgundy felt. These shelves are removable.
