About the Item
Mid century embossed leather steamer trunk on caster wheels, with brass plated hardware. A vertical trunk - a royal traveling companion functioning as a portable wardrobe. Slick design and quite the eye-catching case. Opening presentation in the modern style of two equal halves, with secure four hinge back wall.
The fabric lined interior features the double hinge canopy valet compartment with garment hangers on extendable rods with securing straps on one opened side, and second valet compartment with garment hangers on extendable rods with securing straps & two lower drawers on the opposite side.
Center combination lock closure plus two latch locks with keys. Side straps & top strap. Original identification tag.
A hardware maker's mark "AR" appears on the latch locks.
