Austrian Armoire with Original Tooled Red/Maroon Painted Finish, circa 1800

A lovely and charming Austrian armoire with the original tooled and grained painted finish in a maroon or reddish brown color, with painted foliage and ebonizing that includes the turned columns and moldings. Doors open to an interior comprising of a vertical divider with 3 adjustable shelves and 1 fixed top shelf on the right side, and a wooden hanging bar with original carved wooden pegs on the left side. Armoire has one bottom drawer with original round embossed brass pulls and key plate, and rests on original square tapering feet. Comes with working lock on door and (1) key, Austria, circa 1800. Measurements: 56" wide x 21" deep x 78 1/2" high (Inside depth 17"; width at waist 50 1/2").
