Coppia di armadi Biedermeier in radica di olmo – Austria, primo Ottocento

About the Item

Elegante coppia di armadi in radica di olmo, provenienti dall’area austro-ungarica e databili al primo periodo Biedermeier, intorno al 1830. Il modello è estremamente sobrio e raffinato, con forme pulite, tipiche del gusto Biedermeier più autentico, che predilige l’equilibrio e la funzionalità. Le superfici presentano una splendida radica di olmo fiammata, con venature vivaci e un effetto specchiato. La struttura è realizzata interamente in abete, materiale tradizionalmente utilizzato come essenza secondaria. Particolarmente interessanti gli elementi decorativi: colonne scanalate sui fianchi e nella parte centrale, sormontate da piccoli capitelli intagliati con foglie d’acanto. Il profilo delle ante è arricchito da una cornice scolpita a motivi perlinati e angoli con volute in rilievo. Mobili sani, restaurati professionalmente e pronti per l’uso, ideali sia in ambienti classici che in contesti più contemporanei. Dimensioni: larghezza 140 cm, profondità 56 cm, altezza 185 cm.
