French Louis XV Cherrywood Bonnetiere Armoire, 18th Century


An outstanding 18th century armoire from the Vendee region in France, this one-door Bonnetiere is made of cherrywood with all original hardware, escutcheons, hinges and lock. The armoire rests on ball and claw feet and has carvings with naive floral motifs on the scalloped apron and on the pediment. Inside depth: 19.50".
