Stunning Rare Antique 1800 Tree of Life Hand Painted German Marriage Wardrobe

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning original 1800 Antique German Marriage wardrobe with super are original Tree of Life paintings often used with farmers I have recently purchased a very large collection of these original, antique painted wardrobes and trunks, I have around 15 wardrobes and 20 trunks in total, each one totally different, this sale is for the piece listed above with all others being listed under my other items This one is an exceptionally good looking well made and collectable wardrobe, the hand painted detailing is exquisite throughout, the piece comes complete with the original lock and key which are fully functional. This one has as mentioned the Tree of Life painted all over it, it was often used with farmers, this is a large and grand example that would have been used in an important home Inside you have one large hanging railed area and one large shelf Condition wise this wardrobe has all the original paint and finish, there will be age and use related patina marks as you would expect, all of which add to the honesty, charm and charisma of the wardrobe Dimensions Height:- 185.5cm Width:- 150.5cm Depth:- 64cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
