As the top portion is removable, it can be transported through apartment elevators or winding stairs. With a simple custom stand, it can also be used as two separate pieces of furniture.
The red interior suggests that it was once a wedding piece. Exterior was finished in hand rubbed organic lacquer. Gilded painting 95+% original, restored with traditional material and technique.
