Tole Toleware Gilded Wrought Iron Coat Stand, Koegl Germany 1960s
About the Item
A beautiful German Midcentury gilt wrought iron and metal coat stand or hat rack in the style of Hans Kögl, circa 1960s or older. The coat stand which has a width of about 22 inches and which is 74 inches tall has a tripod stand and scrolled arms with 12 possibilities to hang clothing. It shows partly some loss of the gilding, nothing dramatically, which is typical characteristic wear consistent with age and use. The coat stand which is of high quality has a good weight for a good stand. Found at an Estate Sale in Munich, Germany. A nice addition to any room.
