Jacobean Revival Carved Oak Dining Set Restored in Cerused Pink, circa 1930s
Located in Los Angeles, CA
For the designer looking for something unusual and a little bit on the wild side, this gorgeous pink cerused carved oak dining set is in the Jacobean Revival style with intricate detailing and newly restored. We estimate the original production of this set to be around circa 1930s and it had plenty of beautiful age when we first acquired the set - then we restored and refinished the entire set in a pink ceruse. What is a Cerused Wood Finish? Cerusing, or liming, is a wood finishing technique that creates a two-toned look, where the open grain of the wood is accentuated against a contrasting base color. This amazing set will turn any mild mundane room into a room worthy for a rock star. This incredible set includes four dining chairs and the extendable dining table which has two built-in leaves that smoothly slide out to reveal the tables full size of 111" and capable of seating 8 to 10 people. When the table leaves are retracted the table comfortably seats 4 to 6 people. We also have other matching cerused pink designs in stock including the Lou Hodges cerused pink bookcase...
