About the Item
The sophisticated design of this vintage side table evokes the glamour of the Art Deco movement. Made in Great Britain in the 20th century, the elegant geometries of the lower storage platforms and the luxurious polish of the dark wood create an impression of elevation and refinement. Cantilevered wheels at the base suggest that this piece was originally designed as a drinks cabinet; the airy wooden slats of the side paneling would have given a view onto the bottles of spirits and liqueurs within.
