Paolo Tilche graduated from Milan Polytechnic in 1949.
He immediately began working as an architect and developed both residential and industrial buildings. In 1955, he opened Arform, a design business in Milan. At the same time, he worked intensively as a designer for important brands such as Ideal Standard, Guzzini and Bonacina. He later hosted "Il piacere della casa", the archetype of the television program dedicated to design.
