About the Item

A 1970s French record console or bar cart, attributed to Michel Dumas. Crafted from amethyst-smoked plexiglass with chrome trim, its architectural form features stacked planes and precision-cut seams, culminating in a sharply hinged top. The translucent body houses two shelves, ideal for records, bottles, or both, with a discreet cutout at the back for wires. A modernist vitrine, perfectly suited for showcasing spirits or sound. Condition: In great vintage condition, with minor marks and scratches on the plexiglass. Light age-related wear to the base and slight oxidation to the chrome.
