Decorative quality trolley or serving cart designed by Jacques Adnet and manufactured by Atelier Jacques Adnet, France, 1950s. This super nice shaped and amazing quality trolley has a metal structure frame which is black painted, the top is finished with black leatherette and is in superb condition, and it is detailed brass parts are an aesthetic feature of the design are kept unfinished brass. The cart is in fully original condition and has an amazing patina from age and usage but there are no actual damages. The nice thing about this cart is that it can be used as small side table to put drinks on, but also as a tv table, console table, it is a truly multifunctional piece. So besides this being beautiful, it is also very functional. Original and authentic items by Jacques Adnet are very hard to find as the furniture from Jacques Adnet could normally only be bought by the Avant Garde from France in that time. Jacques Adnet is one of the most important French designers of the previous century, who started designing in the Art Deco Period and the influences of that are still visible in his later work. His pieces are a perfect balance of modern and classical designed furniture. And outstanding quality was always the most important feature.
