Mid-Century French Gilt Brass Oval Three-Tiered Trolley Bar Cart on Wheels

About the Item

This elegant vintage rolling bar cart was created in France, circa 1960. Built in brass and oval in shape, the three-tier plateau trolley stands fluted legs supports topped with decorative finials, and ending with casters at the base. The top deck, dressed with side handles, features a removable tray with inset glass, and decorated with a pierced gallery rim; the stationary bottom tray, also with original glass is set inside a pierced gallery, and fitted with six bottle compartment rack. You could fit a couple more bottles in the middle section as well. The classic serving cart is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated gilt brass finish. The service table is practical and convenient, and could also be used to serve cheese, dessert or tea during or after a meal! Measures: 22" W x 14.25" D x 30.75" H

This elegant, vintage rolling bar cart was created in France, circa 1930 and attributed to Maison Bagues. The rectangular dessert table has a brass frame, small wheels with rubber tires over short straight legs, and two rectangular shelf plateaus topped with glass surfaces. Both shelves are connected by curved inward brass frame and embellished with brass rope form motif connecting the sides together. The removable top deck dressed with tainted glass features a convenient shaped utilitarian handle on each side and is decorated with a brass pierced gallery rim; the tray can be conveniently be lifted up, and be set on a table.
