About the Item
This elegant vintage rolling bar cart was created in France, circa 1960. Built in brass and oval in shape, the two-tier plateau trolley stands fluted legs supports topped with decorative finials, and ending with small casters at the base. The top deck, dressed with side handles, features a removable tray with inset glass, and decorated with a pierced gallery rim; the stationary bottom tray, also with original glass is set inside a pierced gallery, and fitted with six bottle compartment rack. The Classic serving cart is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated gilt brass finish. The service table is practical and convenient, and could also be used to serve cheese, dessert or tea during or after a meal!
