About the Item
Black lacquer polyhedron rolling bar cart in style of Ico Parisi. This spectacular bar cart leaves nothing to the imagination. The chrome casters glide easily leading to a lower shelf having a triangular base with chrome mounts and hardware. The whole supporting a polyhedron shaped bar which opens on all ends to display an absolutely stunning leather (Ostrich) designed area to rest your drinks and wine bottles.
This movable dry bar cabinet was originally designed by M. Vuillermoz in the 1960s. Three of the elements on the top half of the polyhedron shape can be opened to access the contents of the inside as well as provide as smaller trays. The Ostrich interior provides two levels of holders for bottles, glasses, etc. When not in use, this uniquely geometric cart is sure to decorate your space. The cart has an awfully sculptural appearance.
This is part of our extensive collection which just arrived from Chicago's renowned interior designer Megan Winters. Megan and her interiors have been featured in Elle Décor (United States, England, Germany and Russia issues), Traditional Home, Luxe, House Beautiful, Veranda, Chicago Magazine, and Crain’s Business, among others. In 2013 and 2014 Megan’s work was showcased in New York at the very prestigious “Design On a Dime” event in collaboration with ELLE DÉCOR with proceeds going to benefit housing works whose mission is to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS. Likewise, over the years Megan has donated her time and talent to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Lurie Children’s Hospital and the University of Chicago Women’s Cancer Board. Megan is also an active supporter of Catholic Charities and the United States Equestrian Federation.
