It was one of the most emblematic pieces of the Linke´s works which was for the Universal Exposition of Paris on 1900 which was descripted as: table à thé estilo Louis XV. This piece had had different varieties with different figures. More about the artists: EN. François Linke (1855–1946) was a leading Parisian ébéniste of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He worked in Praga, Vienna and Budapest. Up from 1881 he aimed to revive the designs of the eighteenth century. He had an extraordinary capability of drawing which takes him to the gold medal in the Universal Exposition of the 1900. His references were taken from the regency and baroque style. EN. Léon Messagé (1842-1901) was a French sculptor, pretty known for his partnership with François Linke for the 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle. He owned a great reputation due to his works before meeting Linke as it was with a cabinet of Zwiener. As well as his collaborator he was an amazing drawer influenced by the rococo aesthetic.
