Designed for Bruksbo, this rare rosewood bar cabinet impresses with its fold-out top, brass hinges, and a well-considered interior featuring shelves, a green-lined bottle holder, and glass racks. Chrome castors provide mobility, while the locking system keeps the doors securely open or closed. A timeless collector’s piece from the 1960s, crafted by Mellemstrands Møbelfabrik. The bar cabinet comes with CITES documentation.

Torbjørn Afdal
Torbjørn Afdal was one of the leading designers at Bruksbo Tegnekontor and in Scandinavia. Afdal became more well known when his furniture was bought by US first lady Jacqueline Kennedy and by the Japanese Emperor. In later years, he was granted the commission to design the parliamentary and chairs and tables to the courthouse in Oslo.
