Very Rare Bar Cart
About the Item
Original designed by Herbert Hirche in 1956. This is a much rarer re-edition by Rosenthal around 1970. Only a few where made and all are different.... the top is handmade in various copper pieces by a female ceramic artist.

Herbert Hirche
Herbert Hirche was a Bauhaus student from 1930–33, his teacher being Mies van der Rohe. Afterward, Hirche worked in van der Rohe’s office and later with Egon Eiermann. He continued as a professor at the State Academy of Fine Art in Stuttgart.
