Cafe Table in Turned Ash with Beaded Leg Details by Boyd & Allister

About the Item

This cafe table in turned ash with a beaded leg detail is inspired by a cafe table I saw in France. The cross of the stretchers in the base is an unusual design element that creates visual complexity from simple traditional joinery. The bead details at the bottom of the legs are a nod to a more stylized genre yet paired with the simplicity of the rest of the piece they give the table a unique character while remaining clean in its shape. The incorporation of slightly disparate design details into this table lets it seamlessly fit into a variety of interiors. The legs and the stretchers are turned and tenoned. There are 3 tables pictured in the listing. The lighter table is built in solid ash in the dimensions listed, the darker table is a walnut table and only 30” wide. The blackened ash table is the same dimensions as the ash table. The finish is a durable low sheen spray finish to prevent marks from moisture, but it is available in an oil and wax if preferred.
