About the Item
An extremely fine well figured Rosewood Regency (typical William IV) Tea table circa. 1840 with brass stringing decoration to the top and to the pedestal as well as the four splayed legs down to the prominent claw feet. The table top opens out to a wooden interior and swings to form a tea table. Such an exceptional example of a typical William IV piece would have adorned any fine drawing room. The timber colour is rich and detailed with elegant proportions to the design.
