This exceptional Biedermeier walnut pedestal table was made in Vienna, c. 1825.
Viennese Biedermeier is distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design and excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design.
This elegant and rare Viennese tilt-top piece is beautifully veneered in walnut on a cylindrical column which is placed on a three-armed base with fine elements.
Viennese Biedermeier pedestal tables are very rare and difficult to find.
The table top has a lovely highly figured walnut book-matched veneer accentuated by a deep amber tone and 200 years old patina.
This fine walnut piece will be a great complement to any elegant interior. It does not matter whether it is a classic or modern interior because Biedermeier is simply timeless.
The piece is in very good condition.
