19th Century French Louis XVI Marble Top Walnut & Brass Two-Tier Bouillote Table
About the Item
Use this elegant, antique fruit wood table in a living room or den as an occasional side table. Crafted in France, circa 1880, the bouillotte table stands on four tapered and fluted legs, decorated with a brass mount at the shoulder and features a middle shelf embellished with a pierced brass gallery. The table features a straight apron with recessed panels over a large drawer. The circular top is dressed with a beautiful variegated grey and white marble surface set inside an intricate pierced brass gallery around the rim. The large round gueridon is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina.
