19th Century French Napoleon III Boulle Centre Table
About the Item
Good condition Ebonized Napoleon III Bedel & Cie Parisian made Boulle style centre table. One centre drawer, four cabriolet legs. The table is heavily decorated with bronze sabots, knee mounts and edge banding throughout. The top is brass and tortoise shell inlaid in the Boulle style. There are some minor losses of inlay as you can see in the photos and there have been repairs to tighten the brass which is very common with these style pieces. We have restored many of these tables over the past 28 years here in Washington D.C. Including work for the French Embassy.

All loose veneer has been re-glued and the legs are tight and solid. This is a good condition table with no major issues. Wear consistent with age and use.
