19th Century French Napoleon III Period Whitewashed Center Table ~ Game Table
About the Item
19th Century French Napoleon III Period Whitewashed Center Table ~ Game Table was hand-crafted from solid sycamore, and features a tailored, very subtly oval top with a shallow apron providing a maximum of knee clearance making it a great choice for games and even cozy dining. The top is supported by a single pedestal formed from two halves and connected to four boldly scrolled legs lavished with bounty-of-the-earth carved detail in full relief. Scrolled legs and bun feet complete the support structure. The finish was lovingly hand-applied by our expert in-house staff to provide a light and airy whitewash finish while still revealing the subtle hues of the old-growth wood, making a neutral coloration perfect for a wide variety of decors and interior palettes.
