American Victorian Herter Bros. Style Center Table, Late 19th Century

About the Item

Victorian marquetry walnut center table in the style of Herter Brothers, New York, circa 1880. The elliptical partial gilt and ebonized molded edge top enclosing a framed elaborately detailed central scene of a bird with its egg filled nest. Appears the top has been refinished sometime within the past 30 years. Has some relatively very minor bruising in the top and on the edge’s, otherwise in excellent antique condition. American, late 19th century.
