Center Table No. 1 - Fluentum Series - Abstract Coffee Table by Raka Studio
About the Item
This table is the Center Table No. 1 of the Fluentum Series of works.
The piece embodies a sculptural base that has been designed with a clean form to focus on the flow of the wood - the wood has been carved to shrink and grow in thickness as the wood seamlessly flows to create the piece. The glass top rests at three points on the sculptural base to create a functional work of art that can be made part of any living space.
The Studio has taken its exploration of wood further with the Fluentum Series. This Series uses techniques and skills learnt over the years to create works that embody details which are unique to the Studio's design esthetic and the craft of bending wood. These techniques allow the natural flow of the wood to take the reins of design; therefore, no two pieces are exactly the same, making each piece unique.
