A Continental early 19th century Empire st. Mahogany Fruitwood center table

A striking and most handsome Continental early 19th century Empire st. Mahogany and Ebonized Fruitwood center table. The wonderful table is raised on Ebonized Fruitwood bun feet below the concave sided stretcher decorated with scrolled movements topped with acanthus leaves. Above is the elegant reeded central column supporting the quarter veneered butterfly inlaid top with circular mottled edge apron. All original warm and rich patina throughout.
