An Early 19th Century Swedish Bleached & Painted Wood Two-Tier Oval Table

About the Item

A Swedish nearly-oval, two-tiered center table from the early 19th century. This antique table from Sweden features a mostly oval-shaped top, with straighter edges at the two longer sides, and is supported by four robustly turned legs with a lower box-stretcher with shelf just above the feet. This table of bleached fir wood has been accented with cream about it's trim. The top of this table lifts off, making for easy transport and installation. This early 19th century Swedish table would make a lovely center table, or perhaps an additional working space within your kitchen offering display storage for pots and baskets below.
