English 19th Century George II St. Giltwood and Marble Center Table
About the Item
A striking English 19th century George II st. patinated, giltwood and marble center table. The rectangular table is raised by handsome patinated claw and giltwood ball feet and most impressive cabriole legs with intricately detailed foliate movements and cabochons at each corner. The apron displays striking richly carved eagles below a most decorative reeded giltwood pattern and superb mirrored Vitruvian scrolls. Above is the original rectangular Vert de Patricia marble top with a mottled border. All original gilt and patina throughout.
