French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Solid Mahogany and Ormolu Center Table
About the Item
An extremely elegant pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. solid mahogany and ormolu center tables, attributed to Henry Dasson. Each table is raised by Fine elongated topie shaped feet with their original ormolu casters. Each of the slender circular fluted tapered legs displays beautiful tailored ormolu bottom caps and scrolled capitals. At the centers are unique and most decorative 'X' shaped stretchers. Above the mottled frieze are the stunning sunburst mahogany tops showcasing the beautiful warm grains framed within mottled ormolu galleries.
