French Louis XV-Style Tea Table with Cabriole Legs, c. 1900

About the Item

Crafted in France in the late 19th century, this refined Louis XV-style side table boasts a timeless, lightweight design defined by delicate cabriole legs ending in square hoof feet. A beaded edge flows along the scalloped apron and down each gently scrolled leg. The rectangular table top has a beautifully curved shape, comprised of three thin boards with rounded, beveled edges. With graceful form and balanced proportions, this elegant table finds its place in any room. From the collection of Frances and Gary Comer.
