French Louis XVI Neoclssical Style Marble Top Center Table
About the Item
Elegant French oval center table featuring a marble top. Made in the grand Louis XVI neoclassical taste with a desirable aged patina on the gilt wood finish. The marble has a lovely veined top with a thick, beveled ogee edge. The top is supported by a conforming oval base with a reeded frieze. The square legs have rosettes decorating the tops and are conjoined by a plant stand stretcher with gracefully shaped legs. The table has a classic French profile and an aged patina on the gilt finish. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
