French table floral marquetry and bronzes Louis XV style
About the Item
Extraordinary and exquisite desk or coffee table designed in Louis XV style and originating from the late Napoleon III era, in walnut and fruitwood. It shows meticulous craftsmanship through its rich marquetry ornamentation and a beautiful bronze ingot that outlines the entire top. It is adorned with fine details made of gilded bronze, the waist of the table shows a bronze mask framed in scrolls and the four galve-finished legs are enriched with bronze espagnolets that show exceptional skill in both carving and gilding. Its elegant design is complemented on the table top with a large reserve with a floral bouquet in fruitwood marquetry traversed by large scrolls and rocailles. It remains in good condition for its age and use.
A great piece, of artisanal and elegant beauty, that will make any space a unique and refined environment.
