Circa 1780
A fine quality George III mahogany dumbwaiter of elegant proportions, featuring two graduated circular tiers supported on a turned and carved central column. Each tier is edged with a subtle raised lip, ideal for displaying or serving. The well-turned baluster column is enriched with carved spiral reeding and terminates in a gracefully splayed tripod base.
This versatile 18th-century piece would serve beautifully in a dining room, library, or drawing room, either as a drinks stand, serving table, or decorative accent.

This piece made in England, circa 1770 is of an unusual size and with the added feature of folding drop leaves. Made from solid mahogany without veneers the piece is heavy and mannish with a deep rich color to the wood. The table is accented with fine detailed carved line bands along the edge of the drop leaves and well shaped turned balusters for uprights and nice simple feet on pads.
