A Japanese Nagasaki Export Lacquer & Mother Of Pearl Inlaid Center Table
About the Item
Striking 19th century lacquered and mother of pearl inlaid circular top above a baluster form standard with three scalloped legs. The table with intricate floral, cherry blossoms, trees and an exotic bird all decorated with inlaid shells.
Dimensions: 42 3/4" W x 29 1/2" H
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age include finish and Pearl losses, chips and wear around the perimeter. Losses to the inlay with some touched up paint repairs. Despite the wear the table retains a colorful and refined presentation.
