About the Item

An interesting late 19th century Louis XVI style gilt bronze-mounted two-tier pastry table Round marble-top table centered with an upper tier with a pierced bronze rim, the four carved legs centered by a bow shaped stretcher with a bronze acorn. In the manner of the 18th century cabinetmaker Adam Weisweiler. Pictured on Page 281 "Paris Furniture: The Luxury Market of the 19th Century" by Christopher Payne Height: 30.5 inches / 77cm to table - 42.5 inches / 108cm to upper tier Diameter: 37 inches / 94cm.
